How does Reiki work? What is it? Where did it come from? Who created it?
These are some of the many questions I am asked about this lifestyle and practice. Reiki is a Japanese way of living with energy and using its healing nature for others. Reiki is a way of life for many people in the world as well as it is for myself. This is a calm and natrual way to live one’s life in peace, love and harmony with the universe. Reiki healing is the work of energy light healing by allowing only bright white positive light and energy to enter a person’s body and pulling out the negative energy that is left inside.
As a Reiki practioner I always take in account any and all ailgments of my clients. I can without a doubt releave almost all the physical pain and guide them through a healthier life style of mind, body and soul. This is truely the most rewarding work I do. To see a person who is in awful crippeling pain leave a session I have done with no pain and no drugs needed is truely humbeling.

Chakra stones can be traced all the way back to ancient India. The chakras are believed to relate to the seven major energy centers of the body where there is vital energy that flows through and intersects. When all seven of the major chakra and energy centers are clear and balanced, a person is thought to be able to reach their optimal wellbeing emotionally and even physically.
Chakra stones are representative of each of the seven major chakra areas in the body. The seven chakra areas and the chakra stones that go along with them include:
* Crown chakra – this chakra area is the seventh chakra and the chakra stone used is a violet stone like an amethyst. The benefits of this chakra include that of peace and wisdom. The physical attributes of this chakra are the brains and the glands.
* Third Eye – this chakra is the sixth chakra area and the chakra stones used are indigo stones like sodalite. The benefits of this chakra include those of vision and awareness. The physical attributes of this chakra are the face, ears, eyes, nose and central nervous system.
* Throat – this is the fifth chakra area and the chakra stones that are used include blue stones like aquamarine. The benefits of this chakra include those of courage and focus. The physical attributes of this chakra include the throat, neck and thyroid.
* Heart – this is the fourth chakra and the chakra stones that are used are pink stones like rose quartz. The benefits of this chakra include love and caring. The physical attributes of this chakra include the heart, upper back, breasts, lungs, blood and air circulation.

* Navel – this is the second chakra and the chakra stones that are used include orange stones like carnelian. The benefits of this chakra include those of direction and creativity. The physical attributes of this chakra are the pelvis, reproductive organs and the kidneys.
* Base of the spine – this is the first chakra and the chakra stones that are used are red stones like red jasper. The benefits of this chakra are that of calming and grounding. The physical attributes of this chakra include the bones, teeth, colon, rectum, anus and nails.
It is believed that using the chakra stones that relate to each chakra and the colors that go with them can improve the energy and focus of those areas in your life.
